Here We Go Again....One More Time in 2008.....

December 27, 2008.....Saturday....We are still here.....you may not still be here....I don't blame you....I stop visiting blogs when there are no new posts....for almost a month....this is the first time in almost three years I have neglected this Safari for so long....the Safari has gone on, of course, but I have just not posted....I know you will forgive....you may even come back to us....we did do the music at the Village of the Arts...but I didn't take any photos....we did go to the opening of the Palmetto Art Center...I only took one photo and it was close to the pits.....the music was good...the opening at the Palmetto Gallery was Great.....Ines sold all four of her pieces she did for the Show...they were brilliant...bright colors....all with an Outsider Art feel to them....there were so many people there...I should have had Mike and Ines stand in front of her works....but I did not....I am shy about asking permission to photograph in a Gallery....I have been pretty lazy recently about documenting in photos....I will go back to being better about that.... also I have taken a Certified Nurses Assistant and Medication Technician course and am now involved in practicing the clinical skills everyday the school is open....my State test is January 23, 2009....written and clinical tests....it has been a good brain exercise....I intend to work part time any time we are in town as long as I enjoy it.....I have a photo of me in my scrubs....the photo is too bad though....so it will not be seen on the blog.... ..........we had a good Christmas and are so glad to be back to just regular days....I can do without holidays.... ......you can see we had no snow.....it has been in the 80's.......we are glad....... ......our Hannah and Tank's Aunt Karin and their brother, Jackson and step-brother, Copa came over for a visit.... ..........Hannah, Jackson and Copa all guarding the house....... .......Buddy, Robin and J share Christmas with us....... .......Katie takes over the basket our Christmas present from Dave at the Farm came in.....it is almost 2009....I resolve to ..........Here We Go Again........
