January 29, 2009.....Thursday.... I want to write to you and express how overjoyed we are to have President Barack Obama in charge......and the rest of his family and the ultra fine group he has called on to serve this country....it has been a long time coming....what a glorious relief.....I Passed both the Written and Clinical Skills tests for State Certification of CNA's....what a glorious relief...Thank God....I have updated my resume to seek part-time employment....after that, I promptly came down with the first cold I have had in years....I am going to pull myself and the blog back together....but not tonight...the camera says "No Image"....

A Golden New Year to Everyone.......

January 12, 2009....Monday.....we spent New Years with Karin and her Goldens, Copa and Jackson...she was babysitting Cassie Bella from Iowa.....the neighbors had powerful fireworks....but really only Cassie was traumatized by them...actually, Ray and I were traumatized by them.... ......so we have from the left....Hannah, Copa, Tank, Jackson and Cassie Bella....Happy Golden New Year......I have been busy with practice for the State Boards for Nursing Assistant....think of me and send prayers on January 23 starting at 9 am....I will be there all day...written test and clinical skills test...plus you must stay and be the live patient for others taking the clinical test.....some other photos to start your New Year.... ....Sunflowers from the Farm....I also brought home honey from the Farm on Saturday....when I cut these Sunflowers, there were at least four bees on each of them....so the honey (and of course, plenty, at least 1/3 was left for the bees to eat) is from Sunflowers, okra, eggplant, tomato, squash, etc. blossoms)....the honey is a medium amber and is tasty...... ....a lovely winter resident in our backyard.....this is the place to winter...no doubt....A Golden New Year to all of You....Obama, Please Come Quickly......
