A 25% Loss.....

February 20, 2009.....Friday.....ah.....this is a good loss....Katie, our cat we adopted about 9 months ago came to us as a female Garfield body type....she had been the companion of an elderly client of mine who loved by feeding....she really didn't care much for Katie because Katie wouldn't get on her lap and cuddle....and of course, Katie didn't get on her lap and cuddle because she was too big to jump to a lap....she had 16.8 pounds on those tiny legs.....recently, Katie had her annual vet appointment....she now weighs 12.8 pounds....A 25% loss of total body weight....this is fantastic....and Katie cuddles and snuggles and is better with Chi Chi now....she is a good girl..... .......and she is a real looker........along with the other fur children...... ..........Ray took both photos....I love the one of Katie....he printed an 8x10 of it.....very nice photo of Katie....we rode to Cedar Key the other day to visit Carol, Jud, Cole and Grace for the afternoon..... ......nice visit....I am starting a private duty CNA job on Monday with hopes of having a second one soon or being used PRN at a nearby small assisted living facility......I am very excited about backing up the Certificates with experience.....(update: 2/21/2009....I have a part-time CNA position at the small assisted living facility starting Tuesday....yippee..)
